Ms. Constance Scott, Vice President. Ms. Scott of Colorado Springs, Colorado is the Director of External Affairs for the Western State College Student Government Association. Ms. Selina Shirle, UCD. Ms. Schirle of Ruidoso, New Mexico is a senior undergraduate at the University of Colorado, Denver. Prior to serving on the board as the UCD representative, she served as a representative from Western State College for academic year 2000-2001.Mr. Joseph Mulcahy, Mesa State College. Mr. Mulcahy of Grand Junction, Colorado is the Director of External affairs for the Mesa State College SGA. Ms. Jennifer Hensel, Mesa State College. Ms. Hensel of student body president at Mesa State College. Mr. Dustin Richardson, Adams State College. Mr. Richardson of La Junta, Colorado is Director of External Affairs for the ASC SGA. Advisory Committee Members Dr. Thaddeus J. Tecza, Ph.D. - Dr. Tecza is Senior Instructor of Political Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and heads up the internship program for the Dept. of Political Science. He also teaches a graduate seminar: "State and Local Government: Focus on Colorado" at the University of Colorado, Denver. Rep. Nancy Spence - Rep. Spence is State Representative from Centennial, Colorado, is Chair of the House Education Committee, and serves on the Colorado Commission on Higher Education Advisory Committee. She also served for twelve years on the Cherry Creek School Board. Noël Otten, Ms. Otten served for two years as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Colorado Student Association. Originally from Rye, Colorado, she currently resides in Greeley Colorado where she is a journalism student at the University of Northern Colorado. Mr. Harris Singer, Metropolitan State College of Denver. Mr. Singer of College Park, Maryland is the Student Trustee on the MSCD Board of Trustees. Ms. Amber Tella, Fort Lewis College. Ms. Tella of Durango, Colorado is the chair of the Legislative Committee for the ASFLC. Mr. Jason Brinkley, University of Northern Colorado. Mr. Brinkley of Lamar, Colorado currently serves on the Student Representative Council at UNC. Mr. Derek M. Johnson, M.A. - Mr. Johnson of Golden, Colorado recently finished his Master's degree in political science at the University of Colorado, Denver. He has served as the head of legislative affairs for the Colorado Student Association and served as the student member of the Colorado Commission on Higher Education advisory committee. Before attending CU-Denver, he earned a B.A. in History from the University of Northern Colorado and served in the United States Army in South Korea. Mr. Michael E. Maestas - Mr. Maestas served for two years on the State Colleges board of trustees (2001-2003), was a member of the Mesa State College student government for three years, and is currently a resident of Greeley, Colorado.
