Our Services:
In accordance with our mission statement, the Colorado Student Association strives to represent all higher education students in Colorado whether attending CSA member schools or not. This includes graduate and community college students. When it comes to setting actual policies, however, practicality dictates that we work primarily with our member institutions.
Full time
representation at the Colorado General Assembly through our professional
lobbying staff. (see staff here)
Representation on
the Colorado Commission of Higher Education Advisory Committee and other ad hoc
committees formed by the Department of Higher Education.
We offer research
services on higher education issues (including student loans, governance,
regulation, budget matters, etc.) to all member student organizations.
This includes case law research and information.
Our higher
education news email service
Informational
forums and conferences with members of the General Assembly and the Dept. of
Higher Education.
Monthly meetings
with representatives from all our member campuses around the state.
Member
organizations are welcome to utilize our Capitol Hill office during legislative
activities.
